
Jamshedpur, Aug 29: Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) organized its annual English elocution, Choral Recitation, Speech and TEDX � Millennials, 2019 on 29th August in the school premises.
The main objective of this contest was to develop oratory skills amongst students.

The panel of judges comprised Reema Sengupta, Senior English Teacher from KSMS, Jasmit Kaur Rekhi, Senior Co-ordinator, J.H. Tarapore School, Dhatkidih and Garvin Waters, English Teacher of Hill Top School, Telco, who has also worked in Dubai as a voice and accent trainer.

The Judges appreciated the hard work of the students and expressed satisfaction at the selection and delivery of their pieces.
The elocution had glimpses of some good poetry and speeches. TEDX Millennials was very inspiring and motivated young minds for a better future.

All the English teachers of Std VI to XII with their co-ordinators worked hard towards conducting this event which had two qualifying rounds, the quarter finals and the semi-finals.
The event was a great success under the able guidance of English dept led by Nilanjana Mukherjee
The program was compered by Aastha Priya and Prahlad Singh for the Junior School. Bhavika Verma and Aqsa Jabeen compered it for the High School while Md. Adeeb delivered the welcome speech.
The vote of thanks was delivered by the Principal, Ashu Tiwary.
Anshika Raghuvanshi was declared the winner of the TEDX Millennials followed by Samadrita Shaw and Saltanat Javed.
The winner of the Declamation contest was Harshita Dubey and Ipsha. In the Elocution Poetry Siddhi (When will it go?) won the first prize. Anshika Kumari (Quangli Wangle�s hat) bagged the first prize in the Elocution contest for primary section. In Choral Recitation MOANA Cinderella was first.
