Annual prize distribution ceremony at Tagore School of Arts Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, June 25: The Tagore School of Arts, operated by the Tagore Society, held its annual prize distribution ceremony at the Rabindra Kala Mandir auditorium. The esteemed guests on the stage were warmly welcomed with floral bouquets. The President of the Tagore Society, Dr. H.S. Paul, delivered the opening address and emphasized the nurturing of talents through the Tagore School of Arts. He expressed that every individual possesses an artistic inclination that can bring inner peace amidst the chaos of life.

Ashish Chaudhuri, General Secretary of the Tagore Society, presented the annual report of the Tagore School of Arts. He highlighted the significant role played by the school in beautifying lives through art, recognizing hidden talents, and providing them with the right platform for expression.

Piyush Sinha, the Dhalbhum Sub-Divisional Magistrate, graced the occasion as the chief guest. In his statement, he encouraged individuals to incorporate art into their lives, as it offers solace and stability during challenging times. He praised the efforts of the Tagore Society in organizing such programs and emphasized the crucial role of gurus and institutions dedicated to art in nurturing and showcasing talent.

The highlight of the event was the distribution of prizes to the participants who pursued various art forms at the Tagore School of Arts. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the group programs for the years 2020-21, 2021-22, and 2022-23 were canceled, causing disappointment among the participants. However, the ceremony combined the prize distribution for these three years. Chandana Chowdhuri, Principal of Tagore School of Arts, graced the occasion with her presence. At the end of the program, Dr. Arup Ratan Basu, Chairman of Tagore School of Arts, expressed gratitude and proposed a vote of thanks. The event celebrated the importance of art in enriching lives and acknowledged the efforts of the Tagore Society and its affiliated institutions in promoting and nurturing artistic talent.
