Jamshedpur: Annual get-together and felicitation ceremony of International Vaishya Mahasammelan, Jharkhand was held at Steel House at Sakchi New Gandhak Road.
Chief guest on the occasion Radheshyam Agrawal, guest of honor Laxmi Nidhi and president of the organization Mohal Lal Agrawal inaugurated the ceremony jointly by lighting the lamp.
Thereafter office-bearers of the organization, representatives of different organizations affiliated to Vaishya Mahasammelan and others were felicitated.
Mohan Lal Agrawal while stressing on the need of greater unity among different sister organizations said that the organization was in the look out of 22 acres of land for setting up a school.
Students from deprived sections of society would pursue education from nursery to higher grades at the proposed school, he said.
Speaking on the occasion Radhyshyam Agrawal said that International Vaishya Masammelan did a commendable job by bringing all sister organizations on a common platform.
He urged the organization to work tirelessly towards eradication of illiteracy, curbing atrocities on women and against illegal sex determination.
