Jamshedpur : SDSM School for Excellence conducted an awareness programme on Basic Life Support (BLS) by the Doctors of Tata Main Hospital to observe Anesthesia Day.
Dr. Shashi Kant, Sr. Consultant Anesthesia has addressed the children and enlighten the students about BLS. Dr. had also emphasized on sudden Cardiac arrest SCA and how the cardiac compression can help the victim in that situation.
He gave demonstration and trained the students and teachers on the correct steps of cardiac compression. Students from Std.VIII to XII had witnessed the programme.
School Chairman DIwakar Singh, Principal, Mrs. Shyamali Virdi, Vice-Principal Mrs. Ragini Singh and teachers had also witnessed the programme.
