Jamshedpur, Sep 4: The nine-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival concluded on Thursday at the Andhra Samiti Telco (East Zone) Ganpati Mandir premises with traditional rituals and devotion. The day began with a Ganpati Havan performed in the presence of G. Srinivas Rao and wife Sangeeta. Devotees offered fruits, bananas, coconuts, and Motichoor laddus to Lord Gajanan, praying for happiness and prosperity in their families.
In the evening, Lord Ganesh was worshipped with 1001 Durva (sacred grass) garlands while Vedic mantras were chanted as per Telugu traditions. A large number of devotees bowed at the feet of Ganapati, participated in the Mahaarati, and received blessings. Prasad was distributed at the end of the ceremony.
The event was attended by President Rajasekhar Rao, General Secretary K. Ram Mohan Rao, along with G. Srinivas, B.S. Yan Murthy, Shyam Sundar Rao, Bhaskar Rao, T.K. Alwal, Narayan Rao, Prasad Rao, Appa Rao, Padma, Sangeeta Ravi, and Raja Shekhar Rao. The rituals were conducted under the guidance of priest Anil Kumar.
