Jamshedpur, July 20: The Annual General Meeting of the Andhra Committee East Zone Telco was held in the committee hall, where key decisions were made regarding the upcoming Srinivas Kalyanam festival. The meeting was presided over by Yam Rajasekhar and attended by all active members.
During the session, Treasurer AV Narayan presented the income and expenditure report of the previous Srinivas Kalyanam, which was approved by the general committee. The committee extended heartfelt gratitude to all devotees who contributed through donations and voluntary support last year.
This year, the committee aims to organise the event on a larger and more vibrant scale. A budget of ₹15 to ₹20 lakh has been earmarked to ensure a richer devotional and cultural experience for the devotees. Various suggestions were discussed during the meeting to enhance the arrangements further.
A new executive committee was also unanimously elected. Yam Rajasekhar will serve as President, with K Sai Ram and Vijay Kumar as Vice Presidents. K Ram Mohan Rao was elected General Secretary, and B Apparao, G Srinivas, and B Rajasekhar were chosen as Joint Secretaries. AV Narayan will continue as Treasurer, assisted by Joint Treasurer MV Bhaskar Rao. Vijay Rao was appointed Auditor, and CV Rao as Sahlakar.
The executive committee also includes members TK Alwal, KD Rao, Shyam Sundar Rao, YS Prasad Rao, D Ramu, and several others.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by General Secretary K Ram Mohan Rao.
