Jamshedpur: A wave of spirituality and devotion continues to sweep across the steel city as the weekly ‘Amritvela Samagam’ organized under the banner of the ‘Amritvela Parivar’ emerges as a major center of faith for the Sikh community.
During a special samagam held at Gurudwara Sahib in Mango on Sunday, devotees witnessed touching moments of devotion, gratitude, and family faith.
Two-Year-Old Celebrates Birthday in a Spiritual Way
The congregation was deeply moved when two-year-old Akal Keerat Kaur celebrated her birthday in a unique and religious manner for the second consecutive year.
The child, accompanied by her family, joined the sangat at Gurudwara Sahib Mango and celebrated the occasion amid Gurbani Shabad Kirtan and the soulful rendition of ‘Asa Ki Vaar.’
Devotees present at the samagam appreciated the family’s deep faith and spiritual dedication, describing it as an inspiring example for the younger generation.

Elderly Couple Fulfils Heartfelt Wish
Another emotional moment unfolded during the samagam when elderly couple Sardar Mahinder Singh and his wife Jaswinder Kaur fulfilled their long-cherished wish of offering prayers and expressing gratitude at Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s house.
Accompanied by their family members, the couple participated in the religious gathering, offered Ardas, and expressed thanksgiving before the sangat.
Their presence added an emotional and spiritual touch to the congregation.

Sikh Sangat Participates Enthusiastically
Members of the Sikh community from different parts of Jamshedpur attended the samagam in large numbers and took part in devotional activities with great enthusiasm.
The atmosphere at the Gurudwara remained filled with spiritual hymns, prayers, and collective devotion throughout the event.
Advance Bookings Full Till December
Sevadars associated with the Amritvela Parivar stated that the primary objective of the initiative is to connect devotees with Amritvela, Asa Di Vaar, and the teachings of Gurbani.
They revealed that the response from the sangat has been overwhelming, with advance bookings for samagam programmes already filled up till December 20 and December 27.
The Amritvela Parivar expressed heartfelt gratitude to the entire Sikh sangat of Jamshedpur for their immense support, faith, and participation in the spiritual initiative.
The upcoming Amritvela gathering will now be held on Sunday at Jemco Gurdwara Sahib. All Gurdwara committees are extending their cooperation to ensure the success of the event.
