Jamshedpur, Aug 21: Amrita Rao has formally taken over as 27th President of Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur during installation function held at a city hotel on Sunday.
District Chairman Dr. Rita Jha graced the occasion as chief guest.
The program started with Inner wheel prayer followed by lighting of lamp.
The lamp was ignited by District Chairman Dr. Rita Jha, District Secretary Alokananda Bakshi, District Editor Nibha Mishra, CGR Neeta Agarwal, CGR Navita Prasad, Honorary members Daisy Irani and Shuvra Mukherjee and PDG Vijay Mehta.
The Presidential collar was handed over by the immediate past President of the club Vinita Shah.
Dr. Rita Jha gave motivational speech on “Work Wonders” the theme of International Inner Wheel for the year 2022-23.
She also spoke about goals for the year 2022-23 ‘We-Care’ to inspire all Inner Wheel members to do what is necessary to respond to the needs of others.
The new Executive Committee consists of Vice President Archana Shekar, Secretary Sarika Singh, Treasurer Priya Nagarajan, ISO Babita Sharma, Editor Raksha Makati.
The committee members include Rehka Jaiswal, Indu Bhambri, Monica Uppal, Neena Jain, Punam Doshi, Alpa Parikh, Bibha Dudani. Club also inducted nine new members.
