Jamshedpur, June 24: Amit Kumar on Friday took charge as the new DC of East Singhbhum. Earlier he was posted as deputy commissioner in Chatra.
Dr. Amitabh Kaushal was the DC of East Singhbhum has been appointed as the director of National Rural Health Mission and additional administrative director of AIDS control committee.
West Singhbhum DC Abu Bacquer Siddique has been made the Mines commissioner while Shantanu Kumar Agrhari has been made the DC of West Singhbhum.
Agrhari was earlier the DC of Jamtara. State government on Wednesday transferred several IAS officers posted as DCs and department secretaries.
