Jamshedpur : Amit Kumar with 373 marks from Mrs. KMPM Inter College in Jamshedpur topped East Singhbhum in intermediate arts.
Ruby Gorai a student of Singhbhum College, Chandil topped Seraikela-Kharswan with 396 marks. Shanti Besra from Eklavya High School, Chaibasa topped the West Singhbhum district with 370 marks.
East Singhbhum registered poor show in the intermediate arts results declared today by the Jharkhand Academic Council.
Seraikela-Kharswan topped in Kolhan with a pass percentage of 80.65 per cent followed by West Singhbhum with 79.97 per cent and East Singhbhum which has got the least pass percentage in Kolhan as well as in the state with 71.7 per cent.
A total of 9070 boys and 12877 girls appeared for the intermediate exam in arts this year from Kolhan out of which 6752 boys and 10024 girls passed. In Kolhan 74.44 per cent of boys got passed while 77.84 per cent girls succeeded.
