Jamshedpur, April 5: The last Friday prayers of the month of Ramzan were performed under sweltering conditions with the Celsius scale standing at 41 degrees. Thousands of worshippers gathered at Sakchi Jama Masjid to offer their Alvida Jumma prayers, bidding farewell to the last Friday of the month of Ramzan. Expressing sadness at the departure of Ramzan, worshippers prayed for the opportunity to witness this holy month again next year. The sermon delivered by the Ulema emphasized the significance of Eid as a festival of unity, urging everyone to maintain peace and harmony.
Devotees in various mosques including Masjid-e-Rehman Sakchi, Ambagan Masjid, Dhatkidih Masjid, Mecca Masjid, Farukhi Masjid, Ahle Hadith Masjid, Bari Masjid, Madina Masjid, Shia Umme Khalil Jama, Imam Hussaini Masjid, and others offered the last Jumma Namaz. The Ulema also appealed to fasting individuals to celebrate Eid with joy and tranquility.
The prayers offered in the midst of scorching temperatures symbolized the devoutness and dedication of the worshippers in Jamshedpur.
