Seraikela: Former president of the District Bar Association cum Senior Advocate Vishwanath Rath today said that even after 20 years, the era of discrimination continues for the development of tribals. He was interacting with the media. Rath said that on August 7, seven accused in the case were granted bail in a case of Rajnagar police station area.
Narasimh Devgan, the only accused in the case locked in Saraikela Mandal Kara, was released. No action was taken even after 11 days of the release order in respect of the remaining six accused. Rath has written a letter to the Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court seeking online action in this regard.
It is to be known that under Rajnagar police station no. 40/2018, the case was tried against seven accused Anil Devgam, Mangal Devgam, Chandra Devgam, Lado alias Konklo Bari, Narsingh Devgam, Turam Devgam and Rodia Bari alias Sangi Bari. Meanwhile, on August 7, the Jharkhand High Court granted bail to all the accused.
