Jamshedpur: All India Chess Arbiters were felicitated on Monday evening at the conference room of the JRD Tata Sports Complex in a special ceremony organised by the East Singhbhum District Chess Association (ESDCA). The arbiters were honoured by Tata Steel Sports Chief Mukul Vinayak Choudhari, ESDCA Secretary Narendra Kumar Tiwari, and Tata Steel Head of Sports Captain Manish Kumar Sinha for their contribution to chess officiating.
Those felicitated included IA Joshi Ambrish C, IA Deepak Kumar Narendra, IA Upalvikar Poornima, IA Agam Aditya, IA Kanchana Choudhary, FA Aditi Srivastava, and SNA Rakesh Kumar.
Several ESDCA members were present on the occasion, including Jayant Kumar Bhuyan, Chandan Kumar Prasad, Vishal Kumar Minz, Purbi Ghosh, Anup Kumar Singh, Aman Choubey. The ceremony highlighted the importance of qualified arbiters in promoting fair play and strengthening chess administration in the region.
