Jamshedpur, Nov 15: J.H. Tarapore School marked an important moment in its journey with the inauguration of its new state-of-the-art auditorium, Aura Mazda – The Light of Wisdom, on Sunday, November 2, 2025. The modern facility is designed to enhance students’ creativity, confidence, and overall learning experience.

To celebrate the launch, the school staged its first theatrical production, “Khul Jaa Sim Sim – The Wonder Cave”, a spectacular adaptation of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves. The production ran from November 12 to 14 with four performances. Evening shows on November 13 and 14 welcomed parents, dignitaries, and members of the Management Committee, while special morning shows were arranged for students and invited schools.

The entire campus transformed into a stunning Arabian setting with golden desert-like décor, lantern-lit pathways, market-style elements, and mystical graphics creating the magical world of Ali Baba. The experience continued inside the auditorium where the LED screen, intelligent lighting, and enhanced acoustics, supported by the school choir, brought every scene to life—delivering a fully immersive theatrical treat for the audience.

During the inaugural ceremony, Director Rubina Bodhanwala reflected on the school’s inspiring 23-year journey from its modest beginning to becoming a respected institution in the city. She emphasized the school’s commitment to quality education, strong values, life skills, and character-building that shapes students into responsible and confident individuals.

Principal Lata Sharat expressed heartfelt gratitude to all stakeholders, acknowledging their continuous support and trust in the school’s mission.

More than just a stage, Aura Mazda aims to be a creative hub for students. The auditorium will host cultural programmes, debates, music and dance performances, and inter-school competitions—providing every child the opportunity to explore talents, express ideas, and excel with pride.

With Aura Mazda, J.H. Tarapore School enters a new chapter dedicated to nurturing brilliance through education and the performing arts.
