Jamshedpur: State Election Commission has ordered prohibition on the sale of liquor during the period beginning 48 hours before the municipal polls and ending at 7 am next morning. No hotel, restaurant, club or any establishment will be allowed to store, sell or serve alcohol during this period. Stringent action would be taken against those violating the said order, sources said.
