AL Rao takes charge as new Director of Tatanagar Railway Station

Jamshedpur, April 27: AL Rao has assumed office as the new director of Tatanagar Railway Station, marking the commencement of his tenure on Saturday. Welcomed by station officers and staff, Rao officially began his role after arriving in Tatanagar via the Utkal Express from Chakradharpur on Friday. Following his induction, he convened a meeting with station officials to familiarize himself with the various departments and their functions.

Expressing his priorities upon assuming charge, Rao emphasized the enhancement of passenger amenities and ensuring the punctual operation of trains at Tatanagar station. Furthermore, he underscored the importance of collaboration across departments to maintain cleanliness and ensure passenger safety within the station premises.

The appointment of Rao comes after several officer transfers within the South Eastern Railway two months ago, including the departure of former Tatanagar station director Raghuvansh Kumar.
