Seraikela: All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) women�s front staged a demonstration before the office of the deputy commissioner of Seraikela-Kharsawan on Thursday to demand adequate drinking water supply.
They protested with utensils and pots in their hands raising slogans against the state government and the district administration.
The women alleged that the administration had failed to provide local residents drinking water in the scorching summer season.
They handed over a memorandum to the DC Hansraj Singh and sought fulfillment of their demands. They threatened to go on indefinite agitation in case their demands were not fulfilled soon.
