AJSU will enter alliance with the people of Jharkhand: Sudesh Mahato

Ranchi: Former deputy Chief Minister and president of All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) Sudesh Kumar Mahato today trained his guns on his political opponent by announcing that his party was ready to enter an alliance with the people of the state.

Addressing party workers at a state level programme organized in the state Capital, Mahato criticized other political parties for engaging in pre-election bargaining. He said his party believed in allying with the people instead of visiting the thresholds of other parties for a marriage of convenience.

Mahato appealed to party workers asking each of them to donate one unit of blood, make one person literate and plant at least one sapling. He further asked party workers to visit villages and create awareness on them on the state of Jharkhand and need to bring about a political change for a better state.

Earlier, during the programme organized at Prabhat Tara ground in Dhurwa, the AJSU president led hundreds of party workers to take oath to protect the culture of the state and play a role in developing and strengthening Jharkhand.

Among others present during the state level Swayam Sevak oath taking ceremony included MLA Chandra Prakash Choudhary, Umakant Rajak, Kamal Kishore Bhagat, Ramchandra Sahis and Naveen Jaisawal.
