Jamshedpur: The OBC wing of AJSU party met the Telco PS in charge in connection with a complaint lodged by Vidyavati Chandra against the party�s district secretary Manoj Gupta who, she claimed had set fire to a vehicle outside her house.
The AJSU delegation to the police station led by the party�s district president Kanhiya Singh, told the OC that the allegation against the party�s OBC wing secretary was false and that they had provided concrete proof to the district administration. The delegation, led by AJSU district president, has demanded that the authorities take serious note of the issue and arrive at a justified conclusion.
According to the charter of demand handed to the Telco PS OC, the complainant, Vidyavati Chandra, had made false allegations. According to the delegation members, on the day and time of the purported incident, Vinod Gupta had accompanied party MLA Ramchandra Sahis to Bodam to participate in the state�s Foundation Day celebrations and had been dropped home at about 1:30 am.
The OC has assured the AJSU delegation members of a true and fair enquiry into the incident.
The AJSU delegation comprised Kamlesh Dubey, Sanjay Malakar, Prakash Viswakarma, Appu Tiwary, Hedmant Pathak, Uma Shankar Singh, Vinay Singh, Phani Bhushan Mahto, Girdhari Singh, Rajesh Chaudhary, Lalit Singh, Sanjay Karua, Lakhi Kant Mahto, Vandana Namta, Putul Singh and others.
