Jamshedpur, August 20: AJSU Party President Sudesh Kumar Mahato delivered a powerful address at the Chulha Pramukh Sammelan cum oath-taking ceremony held at Katin Maidan Patamda, near Kamalpur police station. The event, which drew a large crowd reminiscent of the 2009 enthusiasm, was a significant occasion for the party, marking their commitment to grassroots leadership and accountability.

As the chief guest, Sudesh Kumar Mahato expressed his gratitude to the thousands of Chulha Pramukhs present. He praised their dedication and highlighted the difference between the AJSU Party’s approach and the current government’s performance. “While the ruling politicians have failed to recognize the role of Chulha Pramukhs, AJSU Party is committed to empowering these grassroots leaders,” Mahato stated. He criticized the current administration for failing to fulfil its promises and for being mired in mismanagement and corruption.

Mahato reflected on his personal experiences, recalling a time when inadequate infrastructure made travel difficult. He contrasted this with the current government’s track record, accusing it of neglecting critical issues such as healthcare, pensions, and unemployment. He criticized the government’s Mainyaan Yojana scheme, suggesting it was a misleading initiative not included in any election manifestos and perceived as fraudulent.

Addressing derogatory remarks about long-serving public figures, Mahato demanded clarity from the ruling JMM government. “The current leadership engages in plunder and manipulates public sentiments rather than focusing on real development,” Mahato asserted. He urged voters to support the AJSU Party, which he promised would prioritize the needs of the common people and maintain transparency and accountability.

Former state minister Ramchandra Sahis, who also spoke, recounted his political journey and the development efforts he undertook under Mahato’s guidance. Sahis criticized the halt in regional development since 2019 and emphasized the need for Mahato’s leadership to restore progress. “The role of Chulha Pramukh is central to AJSU’s strategy,” Sahis said, criticizing opposition figures for failing to understand or support this grassroots approach.

Central Chief Spokesperson Devsharan Bhagat highlighted the impressive turnout of 16,342 Chulha Pramukhs as a sign of AJSU’s strength and impending success in the Jugsalai assembly elections. “The large number of Chulha Pramukhs demonstrates the party’s genuine engagement with grassroots leadership and development,” Bhagat stated.

The event concluded with a reaffirmation of AJSU Party’s dedication to addressing the issues neglected by the current government and serving the people with integrity and accountability
