Jamshedpur: All Jharkhand Students Union members led by Babur Khan today met the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum to demand minimum wages for the convoy drivers.
He said the convoy drivers and other workers should be paid minimum wages as fixed by the government. He said various outfits were demanding minimum wages for the workers.
He said the private companies should also take initiative to pay minimum wages and other benefits to workers.
