AJSU demand end to traffic congestion from Jugsalai over bridge to Jugsalai PS

Jamshedpur. May 9: AJSU Party’s East Singhbhum District Committee has submitted a five-point memorandum to Deputy District Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav, demanding an end to the traffic congestion on the stretch from Jugsalai over bridge to Jugsalai Police Station. Led by District President Kanhaiya Singh, the party delegation met with the DC on Tuesday and discussed the need for prompt action to address the issue. The DC has assured the delegation that appropriate orders will be issued to departmental officers over the phone to rectify the issue at the earliest.

The memorandum includes five demands, such as the construction of a foot-over bridge for laborers from their parking area to the factory, reinstallation of the iron railing that divides the road from Jugsalai railway gate to Jugsalai police station, arrangement of proper lighting on the new railroad overbridge, construction of roundabouts at both ends of the new railroad overbridge, and compensation for Vikas Prasad, who lost his son Lalit Prasad in an accident near the Power House gate while going to school. It is worth noting that the stretch from Jugsalai Gate roundabout to Jugsalai Power House Gate experiences heavy traffic every day from 6 am to 8 am, resulting in many children being late to school.
