Ranchi: All Jharkhand Students Union president and former deputy Chief Minister of Jharkhand Sudesh Mahato today said his party was trying to adopt a changed political character in the Lok Sabha elections this year.
He was speaking to scribes after filing his nomination as the party candidate from Ranchi on Saturday. He said the party had taken a pledge to press for various issues including the special state status for Jharkhand and development of the state.
He said the general elections were going to be a turning point for the party which would go all out to get its demands fulfilled in the larger interest of the people of the state.
