Jamshedpur, Jan 9: Ajitendra Tripathi assumed charge as Assistant Divisional Railway Manager (Infrastructure) of Chakradharpur Division on January 6, 2026. The officer is a 2006-batch IRSEE (Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers) official with a distinguished career in the Northeast Railway.
Prior to this posting, he served in key positions including Assistant Divisional Electrical Engineer in Lucknow, Divisional Electrical Engineer in Varanasi, Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer in Izzatnagar, Deputy Chief Vigilance Officer at the Northeast Railway Headquarters and Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer (Traction Rolling Stock) in Gorakhpur. He was awarded the General Manager’s Award in 2016 for outstanding service and the Rajbhasha Award in 2024 for promoting the use of the mother tongue in official work. His vast experience is expected to provide new direction and momentum to infrastructure development in the Chakradharpur Division.
