Jharkhand Govt reshuffles 30 IPS officers in major shake-up

Jamshedpur, Sept 19: In a significant reshuffle, the Jharkhand government has transferred 30 IPS officers, ranging from the DG level to district postings.

DGP Anurag Gupta has been relieved of his additional charges of CID and ACB, retaining only the post of Jharkhand DGP. Wireless DG Prashant Singh has been given the additional charge of DG Headquarters, while JAP ADG Priya Dubey has been appointed ADG of ACB. Ranchi IG Manoj Kaushik has taken over as IG CID, and Bokaro IG Kranti Kumar Gadideshi has been appointed IG (Human Rights).

At the district level, Rakesh Ranjan, the former Chaibasa SP, has been posted as the new Ranchi SSP, with Amit Renu replacing him in Chaibasa. Ajit Kumar, earlier Ranchi City SP, has been transferred as Railway SP, Jamshedpur. Meanwhile, Paras Rana has been named City SP, Ranchi, with additional charge of ZAP-10, and Rakesh Singh becomes Traffic SP, Ranchi, with additional charge of Wireless SP.

Other key changes include: Sudarshan Mandal as IG (Headquarters) with charge of Jail IG. Sunil Bhaskar as Bokaro Zonal IG; Mayur Kanhaiyalal as Dumka Zonal IG; Chandan Kumar Sinha, promoted as DIG, appointed DIG (ACB); Ehtesham Waqarib as CID SP; Shri Saurabh as Deoghar SP; Kailash Karmali as Railway SP, Dhanbad; Animesh Naithani as SP (ACB) and Moomal Rajpurohit as Commandant, ZAP-8.
