Jamshedpur, Jan. 19: Upholding the ideal of socio-humanitarian upliftment, a blood donation camp was organised at AIWC Academy of Excellence. Total of 46 units of blood was collected in the camp.
This camp was organised by the Interact club of the school. Mrs. Jasbeer Kaur Gill and the Interact Club coordinator Mr. Devabrata Das played pivotal roles in the organisation of this camp.
The camp was formally inaugurated at 9.30 a.m. by the chief guest for the occasion Mrs. Alokananda Bakshi Vice President of AIWC & School Co-ordinator of AIWC Schools.
Also present at the inaugural programme were the members of the school managing committee. Doctor from the blood bank overviewed the whole blood donation process.
A large number of teachers of the school, sub staff and parents enthusiastically donated their blood and partook in a noble cause. Total numbers of donors in this camp were 46.
