Jamshedpur, Feb 15: Air fare from Jamshedpur to Kolkata and Bhuvneshwar have turned costlier. Kolkata-bound passengers paid Rs 2730 per head starting from today. Those headed to Bhuvneshwar paid Rs 4000. Earlier, the Kolkata-bound passengers used to pay Rs 1999 while the Bhuvneshwar-bound passengers paid Rs 2999. Nine seater planes are ferrying passengers from Sonari Airport to Kolkata and Bhuvneshwar. The flight services have resumed recently. Earlier, the last flight from Jamshedpur to Kolkata had taken off in the year 2010. Kingfisher company was operating the air service.
The commercial flight facility is being provided from Jamshedpur to Kolkata and from Kolkata to Jamshedpur by IndiaOne Air’s 9- seater aircraft.
