Jamshedpur : AIADA Board has approved the proposal to set up Hi_tech city and and IT Park on 234 acres land.
During the 107 th meeting the Board sent the proposal to the central government. Of this, 82 acres of land Electronics Manufacturing Clusters (EMC) will be built.
This will cost around Rs 116 crore. Central Government will bear 50 per cent of the total cost, while the remaining amount will be taken by entrepreneurs on the PPP mode.
The move will provide boost to jobs in the automobile sector.
In a three-hour meeting industry secretary Himani Pandey, Director Dipankar Panda, Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum, Saraikela �Kharsawan Hansraj Singh, MD AIADA Yugal Kishore Chobey, AIADA Secretary Suresh Kumar Dudani were present.
Industry secretary said the two projects will increase revenue. Electronics manufacturing cluster parks in the center would benefit from the subsidiaries.
