Jamshedpur, July 25: Kavivan Daksha Agency of Gamharia in the adjoining Seraikela-Kharsawan district has been accused of duping youths of lakhs of rupees under cover Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) and usurp lakhs of reward money of more than 50 applicants.
The agency has taken money from some applicants by cheating and from some by pressurizing them. A complaint against the issue has been made at Adityapur Police Station.
The agency has been imparting technical training among the youths under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana in Gamahria.
The current batch training started on March 1, 2016 which continued till May 11, 2016. After the training when the time came for the reward which was Rs 10 thousand per candidate at that time they were forcibly made to sign the auto debit form were it was mentioned that with their consent they are transferring the money to their account.
Trained sufferer candidate Shashi Shekhar Singh said, 50 of the 75 youths filled up the form and lakhs of money was transferred to the bank account of the agency but some of the youths refused to fill the form and filled a complaint at Adityapur Police Station.
Shashi Shekhar Singh further said, the agency provided plumber, electrician and fitter training among 75 youths and later pressurized to sign the form were several youths feared of not getting the certificates signed the form.
According to PMKVY, the youths should be provided free training but the agency charged Rs 2000 per candidate.
The agency has till date not provided certificates to the youths while police has launched probe in the matter.
