Agarwal Sammelan comes forward for Richa Agarwal who died during treatment at MGM

Jamshedpur, December 12: Agarwal Sammelan has taken cognizance of the deceased Richa Agarwal who died during treatment at MGM Hospital.

Vice-president of Agarwal Sammelan Mukesh Mittal and general secretary of the sammelan Sandeep Murarka took up the issue of Richa Agarwal a resident of Chakradharpur whose husband Javed Khan is lodged in Ranchi Jail in the murder case after the news came about her death in local newspaper.

Incidentally, Richa had alleged that she was gang-raped, she was given injections of intoxicants for a month, due to which her mental condition worsened. This case is registered in Chandil police station. Case No. 41/2021 Dated 4.03.2201

She had a tumor in his stomach, which was being treated at MGM. But according to the doctors his mental condition was going bad. Advocate Amrita Kumari of Adityapur was helping him. Once, for the treatment of Richa Agarwal, he had also offered alms in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office, in which journalist Kavi Kumar and human rights activist Jawaharlal Sharma also gave alms. Simultaneously, the Deputy Commissioner had given assistance of Rs 10,000 to Amrita Kumari from the Red Cross.

At the same time Mahavir Modi, Abhishek Agarwal Goldie, Sunny Sanghi, Omprakash Ringsia, Deepak Pareek, Sanwarmal Aggarwal also met him and expressed their desire to get the best test and treatment, but advocate Amrita Kumari refused and said  whatever help is needed, do it in the form of cash.

Richa passed away on December 3 MGM. When no claimant came, MGM Hospital was compelled to inform Sakchi police station on December 9 and sent the body to MGM College for post mortem. The post-mortem of the body has been done on December 10, the body has been kept in the cold house of MGM College. Mukesh Mittal, Vice President of Agrawal Conference, has shown his sensitivity in this subject by talking to the Superintendent of MGM Hospital, Principal of the College, Doctors, Sakchi Police Station etc.

It is understood in the investigation that probably his family will have all the above information, but due to poor relations with the family, those people are not in touch. The girl’s father and two elder brothers live in Chakradharpur.

From the point of view of law, cremation is not done until 72 hours have passed. After that, permission will have to be obtained by giving a written application to the Sakchi police station for cremation.

So today 72 hours will be completed on Monday, if any family member comes from Chakradharpur to girl’s maternal home or in-laws house. Otherwise Agrawal Sammelan and Agrawal Yuva Manch, showing their responsibility, will obtain permission from the district administration for the last rites of the above body. Sunny Sanghi, general secretary of Agarwal Yuva Manch, Santosh Agrawal, president of Agrawal Sammelan, Suresh Kanwatia, advocate Kailash Agrawal, state spokesperson Kamal Kishor Agarwal, etc., are all keeping an eye on this development with full sensitivity.
