Jamshedpur, April 25: Tensions rose at the Jamshedpur Court premises as advocates voiced their demand for the restoration of a recently demolished park that had been constructed with MLA funds. Reportedly, the park was removed to make way for e-court facility.
Advocates expressed their discontent as a container was installed overnight at the site designated for the court’s server room, aggravating their sentiments. Senior advocate Prakash Jha emphasized the importance of restoring the park, originally built at a cost of approximately Rs 15 lakh, and criticized the lack of action despite assurances by the District Judge.

The advocates highlighted the inadequate facilities available for the general public within the court premises, including malfunctioning lifts and a lack of bathrooms and drinking water facilities. Their demands included the removal of the e-court container and the restoration of the park to its previous state.
The advocates’ united stance denoted the pressing need for addressing infrastructure concerns within the court premises, ensuring accessibility and convenience for all stakeholders.
