Jamshedpur, May 27: Karim City College, Sakchi, has officially launched the admission process for the 4-year undergraduate programme (FYUGP) under the National Education Policy (NEP) for the academic session 2025–2029. A meeting regarding the same was held in the college’s Mashwara Room, presided over by Principal Dr. Mohammad Reyaz and attended by faculty and non-teaching staff.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Reyaz emphasized the need for full preparedness and proactive support to incoming students. He stated that the admission process, which began on May 24 via the Chancellor’s portal, must be executed smoothly and efficiently. To facilitate this, a help desk has been established within the college to resolve students’ queries and provide assistance throughout the process.
Admission In-charge Dr. S.M. Yahya Ibrahim briefed attendees on the complete procedure. He informed that students seeking enrolment in Arts, Science, or Commerce can now apply online. The first merit list will be published on June 25, followed by admissions from June 26. The second and third lists will be released on July 8 and July 15 respectively, with admission continuing accordingly.
A welcome ceremony for new students is scheduled for July 21, after which regular classes will begin. For vocational courses such as BBA, BCA, B.Sc. IT and BA in Mass Communication, students may directly contact the respective departments for direct admission
