Administration measures illegal pavements in Sakchi market

Jamshedpur, July 26: Carrying on their anti-encroachment drive in Sakchi Market, district administration on Sunday, a day after several overhang stairs and sheds were removed in presence of JNAC officials and local police, the team inspected several shops in Jalebi line, Mansarovar Hotel lane and other areas of Sakchi market and measured the extended stairs and also ordered the shop owners to remove the encroachment own their own by Monday, July 27 otherwise the district administration will be forced to break off the over hanged stairs and sheds.

Present on the occasion SDO (Dalbhum) Alok Kumar, JNAC officials later informed the shopowners to break the pavements.

An auto was also roamed all over the market announcing the order of SDO. On the occasion SDO said that the drive against anti-encroachment will carry on till the Sakchi market is made free of infringement and illegal parking at the side of the roads. �Encroachment of public land in the city has become eyesore.

It has brought traffic movement to a crawl�, added SDO. Also present were DSPs and police jawans.
