Administration conducts Flag March in Jamshedpur ahead of Lok Sabha Election

Jamshedpur, May 22: With the sixth phase of elections in the country and the third phase of Jharkhand state elections scheduled for May 25, preparations are in full swing to ensure a smooth and fair voting process. In a bid to instill confidence and encourage voter participation without fear, a flag march was organized across the district on Wednesday.

The flag march, led by the DSP station in-charge, traversed through various areas including Sakchi, Mango, Azadnagar, Ulidih, and Jugsalai in East Singhbhum. A significant contingent of police forces accompanied the march to maintain order and security.

In Azadnagar, the march commenced from the police station, covering all polling booths in the area before concluding back at the station. Rakesh Kumar Singh, the police station in-charge, emphasized that the purpose of the flag march was to reassure citizens of a safe and secure voting environment for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He affirmed the full preparedness of the police administration to facilitate fair voting procedures during the elections.
