Jamshedpur: District administration here on Thursday removed alleged encroachment at several places along the Kalimati Road at Sakchi in a stronger follow-up to its failed mission a couple of days back.
The team of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) officials and staff accompanied by police officials pulled down the office and coal godown of BJP leader Ramfal Mishra. BJP flags installed atop the office were removed before the demolition.
The team also demolished a restaurant situated close to Mishra�s godown with the help of bulldozers.
Administration turned the heat on encroachers during today�s campaign in response to the incident of assault on JNAC City Manager cum magistrate on duty Ranjan Pandey.
The name of Dhruv Mishra, son of Ramfal Mishra, also surfaced during police investigation into the chaos created by protestors at the anti-encroachment campaign site.
