ADM directs checkpost personnel to check e-passes strictly

Jamshedpur, May 23: ADM (Law & Order), Nand Kishor Lal inspected the interstate checkpost at Rasunchopa and interdistrict checkpoint at Hata, both in Potka Block and asked personnel manning both the points to be vigilant against norm benders passing through the two checkpoints. He directed them not to allow anyone entry or exit without e-passes and masks.

Zila Parishad members Chandravati Mahto, Sunil Mahto, BDO Dilip Kumar Mahto, CO Imteyaz Ahmad and CI Upendra Kumar accompanied the ADM during inspection. Nand Kishor Lal gave clear cut instructions to the personnel at both checkposts that those entering the district from other states and districts should be given RAT and RT PCR tests. Those found positive in RAT should be taken to the nearest quarantine centre and kept there till they were tested negative. Lal’s stricture included that even if their reports came in negative, they were to be kept in isolation if their symptoms of cold, cough and fever persisted.

ADM Nand Kishor Lal directed the BDO and CO to ensure COVID tests and vaccine centres at all the 34 panchayats in the Block. He directed them to involve Zila Parishad members, Mukhiyas, Gram Pradhans, Ward members and other representatives in the drive.
