Jamshedpur, July 9: The CISCE Zonal Level Football Tournament 2025 concluded with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship at Carmel Junior College, where top schools competed fiercely across three age categories. Held from July 7 to 9 at the Carmel Bal Vihar Grounds, the tournament saw spirited participation from Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 boys’ teams.
In the Under-14 category, Hill Top School clinched the gold, followed by Xavier School, Chakradharpur with silver, and VIG School securing bronze. The Under-17 category saw Andhra Association emerge victorious with the gold medal, while St. Xavier’s School, Chaibasa and Ramakrishna Mission School bagged silver and bronze respectively.
On the final day, 11 teams battled it out in the Under-19 category, where A.D.L.S. Sunshine School took home the gold. R.V.S. Academy earned silver, and St. Xavier’s School, Gamharia secured the bronze.
The event witnessed energetic crowds, enthusiastic cheering squads, and committed coaches and teachers supporting their teams. Principal Sr Sharel of Carmel Junior College expressed pride in hosting the event and congratulated all participants for their discipline, skill, and sportsmanship. “We are proud of the spirit shown and wish all teams success in the upcoming regional level matches,” she added.
