Jamshedpur, May 6: ADLS Sunshine School celebrated ‘World Dance Day’ in the school premises on Saturday. The day is celebrated on 29th April to mark the birth anniversary of Jean Georges Noverre, the creator of modern ballet. The day began with the prayer service and welcome address. The Management, principal, staff and students were present to witness the 24 different beautiful dance forms from the countries across the globe .
“The day is a celebration to instill the value and importance of this art among the students, to break the cultural and ethnic barriers and to bring people together with a common language, ‘Dance”‘, said the Principal, Indrani Singh.
The Dance forms were outstandingly choreographed by Astha Das, the Dance teacher in the school.
