Announces Rs 50,000 to the family
Jamshedpur, June 27: Following rape and murder of a teenage girl at Adityapur, Health Minister Banna Gupta on Saturday met the family and promised them every support for justice. During this period, Seraikela Deputy Commissioner A. Dodde, and SP Md Arshi were present on the occasion.
Though financial assistance of two lakhs has been provided to the aggrieved family by the district administration but still Banna Gupta announced to give Rs 50 thousand to the family.

The minister lauded the police probe and said that the action taken so far cannot be questioned, the minister also promised speedy trial to punish the culprits. The minister strongly condemned the incident. Gupta instructed the district administration to crack down on the liquor business and small gangs who are ruining Adityapur area.
The minister said that the state government is serious about such a case, and said that no such criminal would be spared. On June 17, a minor student of Saldih Basti of Adityapur mysteriously disappeared. Later on her dead body was recovered from Kharkai river near Hathiyadh under Adityapur police station. During the investigation, the police confirmed that the minor was raped. Five accused have been arrested in this case.
