Action demanded against companies spreading pollution in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, July 18: A delegation of Youth JD (U) led by the organizations chief general secretary Kaushal Kumar Singh and state secretary Ajay Kumar handed a letter of demand to the Deputy Commissioner urging action against Tata Power, NUVOCO and VISTA companies for spreading pollution and contaminating the environment that were resulting in diseases among residents of nearby colonies. The delegation stated that the roads too were being damaged due to the plying of heavily loaded vehicles to and from the companies. It alleged that the companies were doing nothing as part of their Corporate Social responsibilities. The Youth JD (U) delegation demanded an enquiry in the matter and action against the companies. The other members of the delegation were Abhishek Gupta, Pravin Karn, Rinku, Manav and Sunny.
