Gamharia: RJD district president Sanjay Kumar Singh warned party leaders who had formed a parallel unit had done so unconstitutionally for which action against them would be taken. He said that he would speak to the party�s state president and send a detailed report on the matter. Singh was speaking at a review meeting of the RJD district unit�s membership drive.
The RJD district president stated that the election of the block president in Dughda under Gamharia Block was unconstitutional and that constitutionally Vijay Kumar Prasad will remain the valid holder of the post.
RJD Kolhan spokesman DN Singh appealed to all members to keep away from a handful of leaders who were trying to malign the organization.
DN Singh opined that the identity of an organization was made by its workers. He directed party members to strengthen the party at the Panchayat level prior to the Lok Sabha elections.
Approximately 24 members belonging to other political outfits joined the RJD fold during the meeting. The farmers� cell district vice president Ramanand Mahto garlanded the new members.
Among the district RJD members present at the review meeting were the party�s farmers� cell district president Shyam Sunder Malakar, Yashoda Devi, Sonali Swarnkar, Krishna Chakraborty, Rekha Pal, Sanjay Kumar, Sunil Kumar Sinha, Sahdev Gope and Gauri Shankar.
