Gamharia : The French city of Lyon on August 18 will host World Masters Athletics Meet. Achinto Pramanik of Gamharia Station Road resident has been selected to participate in the event.
Earlier he participated in in the National Masters Athletics Meet and won four medals. On reaching Gamharia Giants Group of Saraikela-Kharsawan Sumnt Kumar Sharma General Secretary, accorded him grand welcome.
On this occasion, due to financial constraints, he said Pramanik is having difficulty in going to France.
He also appealed to the Jharkhand chief minister and sports minister to support.
