Jamshedpur, June 21: Acharya Ramanand Avdhut (74), senior Sanyasi of Anandmarg Pracharak Sangh’s last rites were performed at Anand Nagar.
During the funeral procession Acharya Satyeshwaranand Avdhut headed the Baba Naam Kevalam kirtan. Hundreds of Anandmargis participated in the last rites.
Ramanand Avdhut died during treatment at Orchid Medical Centre in Ranchi.
He was running sick from several days.
Ramanand Avdhut was Personal assistant of the founder of Anandmarg, Anandmurti from 1971 to 1984. He later became the secretary of Anandmarg universal relief team.
