ABVP embarks on voter registration drive

Jamshedpur : Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has launched drive – ‘Power of One’ – for voter registration.

By means of this, the ABVP officials will ask the eligible voters to register themselves and participate in voting for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

“As per the election commission’s data, the number of young voters is very less and a majority don’t even register themselves.

Many young voters do have voter IDs. Our primary aim is to create awareness about the importance of voting and making an informed choice,” said Satnam Singh ABVP.

Apart from distributing voter registration forms, ABVP also plans to campaign against corruption, internal and external security and price rise.

The student wing of the BJP claim they are not going to canvass for the party directly. On this occasion, mainly Ritesh Singh , Gaurav Pathak , Shankar Tiwari Prabhat Kumar Rai , Rahul Kumar Shukla were present.
