ABTSM demands land for community building

Jamshedpur, Dec 2: A delegation of the district body of Akhil Bharatiya Tailik Sahu Mahasabha (ABTSM) led by president Rakesh Sahu handed a letter to the Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum demanding a plot of land in Ward- 7, Khata 245, Khesra 661, under Tata lease area and JNAC for construction  of a community building for the Tailik Sahus.

A letter of recommendation by East Jamshedpur Assembly constituency legislator Saryu Roy addressed to the Deputy Commissioner was attached to the demand letter. ABTSM district committee president Rakesh Sahu said that a community building to organize cultural and social functions was of utmost importance especially when community members found it extremely difficult to arrange for places. A community building, under the circumstances was of utmost importance. Rakesh said, “The district ABTSM is a registered organization and has been active in East Singhbhum since 50 years. We are urging the district administration to grant us a plot of land as detailed in our demand letter submitted to the DC so that we may construct a building for opur community people for holding social and cultural programmes.”

The district ABTSM delegation headed by president Rakesh Sahu included Suresh Kumar, Sanjay Sah, Sumit Sahu, Puja Sahu, Dipak Sah, Bhola Sao and Manoj Sao.
