Jamshedpur: An absconder since 2004, accused in a motorcycle looting case Sanjay Majhi was arrested from the Gamharia market by the Adityapur police who were tipped off on the accused�s whereabouts.
The case pertains to 2004 when four persons were accused of looting a motorcycle from near the Gamharia rail crossing gate. Two accused persons were already arrested. Sanjay Majhi was arrested today while another is still absconding. They absconders carried a reward of Rs 2,000 on their head. The Adityapur police are conducting raids at several places to nab other accused persons in several cases.
