Chaibasa: Burglars made an abortive attempt to break into the Sadar Bazar branch of Allahabad Bank in Chaibasa late yesterday night.
The culprits managed to enter the bank but could not break the locker. The culprits took away the CCTV and DVR installed on the bank premises in a bid to hide their identity.
The bank staff found the locks broken in the morning. They soon informed the police about the incident. The superintendent of police Pankaj Kamboj reached the bank and talked to the bank manager GK Das.
An FIR has been lodged in this connection.
