Demands cancellation of admission at MNPS
Jamshedpur : The fight on the method of selection students randomly at the KG admission in private schools of the city still seem to be a difficult task in the third consecutive year of the implementation of the Right to Education Act.
Both the school fraternity and Abhibhavak Sangh are at logger head over KG admission process.
Abhibhavak Sangh demanded cancellation of seclection process carried by Motilal Nehru Public School on Jan 4 based on Saras 2 software for the new academic year (2014-15). A memorandum was handed over to the DC in this regard.
While parents and representatives of the Jamshedpur Abhibhavak Sangh has raised questions of transparency on Saras 2.0, the software that was used by most of the English medium schools last year, schools are adamant on using the same without being wanting to be questioned on the issue.
A section of the parents are however still not sure of transparency in the tech system.
Though, we know this (Saral system) is not a perfect admission procedure but all we want is transparency in the lottery system either it is through manual or computer, said Dr Umesh, convenor, Jamshedpur Parents Association.
