Abhibhavak Sangh demands flyovers

Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Abhibhavak Sangh members met the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Dr Amitabh Kaushal on Monday and handed over a memorandum to him demanding initiative to construct flyovers in the city and re-adjust the no entry timing for heavy vehicles in the city.

The delegation leader Dr Umesh Kumar said hundreds of people had died in numerous road accidents in the city.

He said the administration should pay attention to the issue by announcing no entry regime for heavy vehicles from 6 am till 10 pm.

He said local companies should be asked to carry out their corporate social responsibilities through construction of flyovers in the city.
