Jamshedpur, Feb 24: Ashok Singh, former Shiv Sena leader and prominent social worker, has urged the central leadership to nominate Aastik Mahato as the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha candidate in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Singh emphasized Mahato’s significant contributions during the 2011 Jamshedpur Lok Sabha elections and his pivotal role alongside martyr Nirmal Mahato in the Jharkhand movement.
Singh highlighted Mahato’s ongoing commitment to the development and preservation of the cultural heritage of the native and tribal communities in the state. He praised Mahato’s readiness to serve the underprivileged and expressed confidence that making him the candidate would fulfill a longstanding public demand, ensuring the party’s success in the election.
